In our business we will be selling desktop software, and we expect to get thousands of new customers each month. When a customer buys the product they will automatically be eligible for one year of e-mail based support from purchase date.
I am looking for a solution where I can support these customers through e-mail in an organized manner. Having thousands of new customers each month means that we need a structured way of supporting them. Therefore, we need some type of helpdesk system so that when we receive an e-mail to support@ourcompany.com, the e-mail goes into a system where it is tracked for us. The system should assign the e-mail a ticket and automatically add it as a case for us. We use Windows servers and would like to locally run the whole system in a Hyper-V guest OS.
Can you provide a solution that can satisfy the stated needs?
